State Road 32 Widening Begins Monday, May 12

State Road 32 construction is nearing a new phase. Over the past week, crews have started widening SR 32 near East Street to prepare for this next phase. SR 32 will still be open for east-west traffic, as it is now. The intersection of SR 32 and Union remains closed.

This change will impact how drivers access the parking lots on the south side of SR 32 when visiting their favorite restaurants and businesses. Beginning on or after Monday, May 12, Cherry Street will be the only regular entrance to those lots. While other access points might open from time to time, Cherry Street will be the main entrance/exit point.

In the above graphic, red will become an active construction zone, yellow is where access will be maintained, and blue is the new route to get to the parking on the south side of SR 32.
